MU Law Analysis (all references are to Table A unless noted)
All Other: The
EB-1 category moved one month. We expect
continued steady movement in this category for All Other. We do not see any retrogression in the future
for EB2 or EB3, other than the usual retrogression at the end of the Fiscal
Year.
China: China EB-2 moved
three months, moving a total of a half year in just two calendar months. EB-3 only moved one week, as demand continues
in EB-3, likely related to the many EB-3 “downgrades”.
India: There was very
little movement in any of the Indian categories. We are slightly more optimistic about India
EB-3, which could continue to progress faster than EB-2.
Philippines: The
EB-3 date showed great progress, improving four more months. By next month, we should see the EB-3
priority date extend into FY2018.
When do you think EB2 India reaches August 2009? It’s painful to see the dates are moving so slow
ReplyDeleteIt must be painful. I feel for you. I think that there is a small chance that it gets there in July/Aug 2019. If not, then I suspect not until CY2020 unfortunately.

ReplyDeleteHi Musillo, Is it true that the NVC run out of visa for EB3 Philippines and we need to wait next FY 2019-2020 for new visa allotment? Or NVC is only backlogged right now on processing current applicants? Thanks
ReplyDeleteNo - this is NOT true.
DeleteHow many EB3 visas are allotted for PHIL this FY2018-2019? Does it change every fiscal year?
ReplyDeleteI have received a letter from NVC attorney stating that my case is not currently eligible for further processing because there is an annual limit on the number of immigrant visas the NVC can issue. Should I be worried about this?
Sir John may i humble ask when is your priority date?
DeleteMy priority date is current last month for EB3 Philippines. When is the next possible communication from NVC? How many months will be my wait time before I get contacted by them?
ReplyDeleteGood day Musillo. My priority date is November 2018 and im under EB3 Philippines. When do you my PD will become current? Thank you.
